Art students from Germantown's Northwest High School will be having an exhibit at the Black Rock Center for the Arts this weekend. It opens tomorrow, Saturday February 18th from 10am-5pm, with an opening reception from 2-4pm and continues through this coming Monday. Get more info here.
I actually feel sorry for Dick Cheney. While I never shot anybody, I have, like Cheney, sent people to the hospital (self-defense class) and I know how sickening it feels to be responsible for harming someone else. It's one of the worst feelings in the world. That aside, I'll never let my sympathy for a guy get in the way of posting a good timewaster. Click here for a good Cheney hunting game.
Baltimore's Current Gallery has a couple of opportunities coming up. The first is LOTS: Art by the Foot, a non-juried exhibit that seems to be set up the same way as the DCAC's 1460 Wall Mountables show was. Get more info here. Drop off dates for the LOTS show are February 18th and 19th, deadline for the juried show is February 23rd.
It's been awhile since I've last posted anything. For those of you who have sent me invitations and announcements to openings, I apologize for not posting them. Please keep them comingI've had a lot of things to do at home and at work and blogging had to take a back seat. I've gotten over the big humps, though, and I should be able to devote a little more time to the blog.
